About me
I am the Associate Director for Graduate Admissions and the Director of Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives at the School of International Service (SIS) at American University in Washington, D.C. I work to make SIS a more diverse and inclusive community through targeted recruitment efforts and program development that aims to increase retention of historically underrepresented groups while also building a more inclusive community.
I've blended my background as a former high school teacher with my master's degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution to address racial and socio-economic structural inequities that continue to impact the U.S. by working on educational access as a means to substantive change.
