Greetings, Dear McNair Scholars and Director Colleagues: I currently serve as the Associate Dean at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Graduate College. I served as a McNair Scholars Program Director for several years. I know the journey that students, staff, and their institutions face in preparing for success in doctoral study and careers in college teaching and research. I invite you to talk with me about our 100+ master's and 60 doctoral degree programs, as well as application fee waivers, fellowships, and many other resources!  I'd be happy to chat about our city and what it is like to be a graduate student at the largest and most diverse urban public research university in Illinois.
